Rich Pickard is proud to be the current president of Congregation Shir Hadash.

Rich and his family joined Shir Hadash in 1988. He has held many jobs in support of the Shir Hadash including:

Member of Religious School Committee.
VP of the Religious School.
Co-chair of the first Tzedakah Day at Shir Hadash.
Temple treasurer 1994-1996.
Confirmation mentor during 7 different years.
Chair, the Needs Assessment Group, a committee of Congregants who were asked to determine the physical needs of the Congregation.
Chai, the New RealityCapital Campaign 2007-2009 to help to raise a portion of the money to pay for some of the physical changes identified by the Needs Assessment Group.
Member of the Capital Campaign Implementation Committee.

Outside of Shir Hadash, Rich is the VP Legal, General Counsel and Secretary of Plantronics, Inc in Santa Cruz. He was the President of the Society of Alumni of Williams College and served on the Board of Trustees for 2 years. Most importantly, he is the husband of Carol, and father of Rob (26), Jake (25) and Jamie (21).
