Taste of Judaism Class

This interactive 3-session class provides an introduction to Jewish perspectives on ethics and values, study, community, holidays, and spirituality.

The class is intended for beginners, and is particularly appropriate for non-Jewish friends and relatives, Jews who have been disconnected from the Jewish community, and interfaith couples. Graduates of this class who seek more extensive study are welcome to the Introduction to Judaism program beginning September 28, 2010.

About Dianne Portnoy:
Dianne is a passionate lay learner who enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained with others. Dianne was trained in the Holiday Workshop program of the UJC (United Jewish Communities)and has taught “Taste of Judaism” for many years.

Rabbi Aron and Fleekop and Cantor Felder-Levy each teach one hour of the class so that students can become acquainted with a variety of perspectives.
