Insight into The Haggadah with Rabbi Kaplan

We welcome anyone who wants to learn more about the history and composition of the Passover Haggadah.
Let all who are hungry to understand the Haggadah and the various traditions of Passover eve, come and learn!
With the approach of Passover we will explore the Haggadah:
* Gain an understanding of the various sections of the Haggadah and how it was put together. This will add to your appreciation of how relevant it is for today.
* Learn some of the songs that bring us back to our Jewish roots and might be something you want to add to your home Passover celebration.
There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. No Hebrew is required.
About the speaker:
Rabbi Kaplan is Rabbi Emeritus at Temple Beth Torah in Fremont, California. He was previously involved in the Ethiopian Jewry Rescue Movement to bring Ethiopian Jews to Israel. He was selected to represent the Bay Area and go on a mission to Ethiopia and Israel in the fall of 1981. He remained active in the movement for twelve years. Rabbi Kaplan has participated in all aspects of congregational life. This is his second year teaching classes at Shir Hadash, where he is also a member.
