Join the Freilache Menschen group of retired adults, members and non-members of Shir Hadash, for a light lunch and an interactive workshop by a representative from The Health Trust:

Healthy Aging

The Health Trust is promoting physical activity in older adults for one simple reason: Physical activity is the best way for older adults to maintain health and improve quality of life.

Clear and compelling evidence proves that physical activity benefits us at any age. Study after study demonstrates that seniors gain from being active in numerous life-enhancing ways.

This interactive one-hour workshop covers the benefits of being active, addresses barriers, teaches participants some practice exercises, covers tips for fall prevention and nutrition, shares ‘keys to success’ for making positive lifestyle choices, and introduces a free resource guide for health and wellness after 50, produced by UC Berkeley and The Health Trust.

Shir Hadash is pleased to provide the program and a light lunch for a nominal donation of $5 per person.
We invite those with last names starting with N – Z to bring dessert.
