How many times have you been to services and wondered to yourself, "What does this prayer really mean?" or "Why do we repeat these meditations over and over again in such a precise order?"
In this 3-session class you will:
* learn how the rituals and prayers that are recited on the Sabbaths and weekdays came together.
* understand the meaning of the ritual, where the prayers come from, why they follow a particular order, and their significance throughout the ages and in Jewish communities throughout the world.
If you've enjoyed the High Holy Day and Festival version of this course, you'll love this one too. If you've not attended the other course, relax! The other class is not a pre-requisite to this one.
