The Introduction to Judaism course provides an overview of Jewish life-cycle, holidays, and other ritual celebrations. Participants will also study Jewish history and gain exposure to important Jewish books including the Hebrew Bible and Talmud.
Instructors will utilize a variety of teaching modalities. The first half-hour of each session will be devoted to the study of Hebrew. Participants are asked to complete reading assignments in preparation for each session. Questions are always encouraged.

Location:
Sessions will rotate from one synagogue to another, based on who is teaching. When you register you will receive a detailed syllabus with schedule of classes, location, and readings to prepare.
Dates:
Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm begins November 1, 2011 and concludes on April 24, 2012 meeting weekly except during breaks.
