New Song - Young Adult Membership

Congregation Shir Hadash is happy to offer a New Song Membership for adults age 35 and younger.

We understand how difficult it can be when you are beginning your career. So now membership at Congregation Shir Hadash is easier. Our synagogue is committed to include all ages in our membership.

For all young adult members we ask for an initial commitment of $36.00 for your first year, and $180.00 annually until the member reaches age 33, at which point they will be asked to pay a percentage of their fair share dues.

The New Song Membership is offered as a full membership in the congregation including all life cycle events, participation in all of the Shir Hadash community activities, and High Holiday tickets.

Programming for young adult members has included Shabbat Dinners, Hanukkah and Purim parties, a visit to the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo, and Torah on Tap:  an evening of beer tasting and Torah study.
