Day of Conscience for Darfur

Congregation Shir Hadash is participating along with thousands of other concerned citizens from across the Bay Area and will take a stand against the genocide in Darfur at the Day of Conscience for Darfur, with a Vigil on the Golden Gate Bridge and a Rally in Crissy Field on Sunday, April 30th.

• Buses are available leaving from Temple Beth David (in Saratoga) between 8am and 9am and returning after the day's events leaving San Francisco at 3pm. The fee to take the bus is $20 per person.
• You are encouraged to purchase an "End Genocide in Darfur" T-shirt to wear at the event for $15.
• Wear your walking shoes! You should expect to walk at least 2.5 miles during the day.
• Bring a lunch, snacks, plenty of water and dress warmly.
