Meet Our Farmer

J & P Organics is a 5-acre, family-owned organic farm. They distribute their produce in CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) Boxes, which they personally deliver to different locations such as Shir Hadash. J & P Organics harvests fruits and vegetables daily to provide the freshest, most nutritious seasonal produce available. Each CSA box contains about 12–14 different types of fruits and vegetables—plenty for a family to enjoy. You can split a box with another family or purchase a box every two weeks if you are concerned about the quantity.

How It Works—No Commitment!

Our program is unique as it allows you to sign up for only the weeks you want. Most CSA programs require members to commit to a season and pay for their boxes every week, regardless if they want a box or not. J & P Organics allows you to order boxes on weeks you wish to order! Your box of freshly-picked produce will be delivered to Shir Hadash on Tuesdays, and you can pick it up on the Tuesdays that you order anywhere from 12 pm to 7 pm.

Easy to Register

Follow the steps below to put yourself in our system as a Member. As a Member, you will automatically receive our Friday email with the list of produce for that week.

  1. Go to http://csa.farmigo.com/join/jporganics
  2. Click on the Shir Hadash delivery location
  3. Hit the “add” button next to “membership”
  4. Click “Next Step”
  5. Click on “register”
  6. Enter your information

Friday Emails & Ordering

Once you finish the registration you will receive an email on Fridays letting you know what will be in that weeks’ box.

If you wish to order a box, go to the web-store on the weeks you want one, log-in to your account and simply order it. Your order needs to be in by Monday at 6:00 pm. For your ease, this link to the on-line store will be included on the Friday emails.

Pick Up on Tuesdays

Pick up your box on Tuesdays any time after 12:00 pm and no later than 7:00 pm.

BYOB: Bring your own reusable bags to put the produce in so J & P Organics can reuse the boxes.

The Cost

  • Regular CSA Box: $23
  • Regular CSA Box plus a dozen organic brown, free-range eggs: $27
  • Regular CSA Box plus flowers: $27
  • Regular CSA Box plus a dozen organic brown, free-range eggs, plus flowers: $30
