Healthy Living Fair
The Healthy Living Fair provides healthcare screening and information to a large population of low income, multi-ethnic medically-underserved people. Services provided include screening for:
- Obesity
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Cholesterol
- Dental problems
- Vision correction/problems
Event Partners
The following organizations will be joining with Congregation Shir Hadash to present this event to the community.
- Our Lady of Guadalupe Church
- O’Conner Hospital
- The Muslim Community Association
- PACT (People Acting in the Community Together)
We have been fortunate to receive a grant from the Health Trust and donations from El Camino Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and Walmart.
Last year over 4000 people attended the fair.
Donations
The Healthy Living Fair is completely funded by generous donations. Use our secure online payment system to make a donation to the Health Fair.

Where: Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2020 E San Antonio St, San Jose
Time: 9am to 3pm
Fee: FREE
Volunteer
Volunteers for all areas are still needed, medical and non-medical:
- Doctors, nurses, dentists, and other health care professionals to counsel participants about their health screening results.
- Help with set-up, clean-up, give-away tables, free raffles, family activities, and escort duties.
- Spanish speakers to serve as translators.
Shifts are available from 9am to 3pm.
Teens are welcome and can earn community service hours!
