IRA DistributionsUnder the 2015 PATH Act, charitable donations directly from IRA accounts are made permanent.  This means that you can make charitable donations directly from your IRA accounts that would reduce your adjusted gross income, which in turn means that the donations would be treated as a tax credit and not as an itemized charitable deduction.

In order to qualify:
1.  You must have reached age 70 1/2 at the time of the contribution, and are subject to the RMD rule.
2.  The money must come from an IRA, not an employer plan.
3.  The money must be directly paid by the IRA custodian or administrator to Shir Hadash.
Call or write Eric to learn more.

Donate a Car - Thinking about selling your car, boat, motorcycle, truck or other vehicle? Donate it to Shir Hadash instead and save the hassle of selling, handling the DMV paperwork, and getting a smog certificate.
