Retirees Lunch and Learn

Ever wonder where Kol Nidre came from?  Why is the Avinu Malkeinu that we use, so popular?  What are the musical themes that we see throughout the High Holy Days.  Join Cantor Felder-Levy during our Lunch and Learn in September as she presents a program on the High Holy Day Music.

Cantor Felder-Levy's educational background is a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana and a Masters of Sacred Music from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion where she wrote a thesis on Max Janowski.

Cantor Felder-Levy is originally from Chicago and an avid sports fan. While, she has adopted the home teams around the Bay area, her heart still roots for her beloved Chicago sports teams. Cantor Felder-Levy met her husband in California and they are the proud parents of 3 wonderful children.
