The Adult Ed Committee's “Nosh and Knowledge” guest speaker series will be held once a month in the Oneg Room with a variety of topics discussed ranging from current events, music, book reviews and authors, politics and much much more. This month's session is Fraud Basics: The Scam Landscape & Staying Safe!

Join Emily Collinson, Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement for AARP California, to hear about the latest data on fraud and scams. AARP has proven resources and tools to help you recognize and avoid identity theft and fraud.

ABOUT EMILY COLLINSON

Emily Collinson serves as the Associate Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement for San Francisco and Alameda Counties. With over a decade of experience in community organizing, Emily is dedicated to empowering older adults to age with confidence and dignity. She brings a strong academic foundation to her work, holding a BA in International Studies from American University and an MA in Communication from Johns Hopkins University. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to building inclusive communities and amplifying the voices of older adults.
