It is with great sadness that we inform the congregation of the death of Doris Schwarz-Lisenbee on Tuesday, September 15, after a long hospitalization. Doris joined the congregation in 2005 and had been an active member of our choir. She was a leader locally in our Second Generation community, served as a member of the JCRC with a special focus on the San Jose City and Santa Clara County Holocaust commemorations, and held office in national survivor related organizations.

We extend our condolences to her husband Larry, to her three sons and their families, and to her sister who came from Colorado to be with her before she died. May there be comfort in the many wonderful memories of times shared and in the support of family and friends.
