The High Holy Days are the celebration of human opportunity. They are an invitation to look at our lives critically, to Awaken, to Reflect, to release and embrace, and to Grow. The shofar is a wake-up call, it is telling us that the “book” in which we ask to be remembered is yet to be written.

In the High Holy Days we tremble for the fear of missing opportunities but we mainly rejoice in the work of building the spiritual strength and capacity to conquer them!
