Congregation Shir Hadash is proud to be twinned with the Hillel of Silicon Valley this year in celebration of Legacy Shabbat, a project of the Silicon Valley Jewish Community Legacy Project.

Our guest speakers will be two students who are active in our local Hillel, Brianna Wingard and Jasmine Haner.  Jasmine is the Vice President for the Students Supporting Israel’s club at SJSU, and Brianna is the Outreach Coordinator and Secretary for the Jewish Student Union (JSU).

Our Shir Hadash planned giving committee, chaired by Ruth Saldivar and Pia Chamberlain,  is a part of the larger community legacy project. Making a charitable gift through a living trust or will is a beautiful way to support those organizations that express your values. It is a way to help our community l'dor v'dor, from generation to generation.
