VIA ZOOM: Life of Meaning Summer Series

Saturday, July 24, 2021 15 Av 5781

7:00 PM - 8:30 PMPlease register below and the Zoom link will be sent to you in an email

Saturdays, July 10, 24 and August 7, 7:00 pm

This short, three-session course will ask us the questions of who we are and what meaning a life lived within the Reform Jewish tradition brings. We will examine the basics of Jewish belief, go deeper into prayer and Jewish thought, and attempt to draw out what these elements can mean for us in a post pandemic world with a specific “reentry” perspective. We will also consider how these perspectives are valuable as we approach the High Holy Days.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Participation in the full series is encouraged.

Dana Evan Kaplan, Editor of A Life of Meaning says: "Rabbi Oren Postrel uses the arts, various types of text and learners' personal experiences to teach my book A Life of Meaning in a creative and inspirational manner. His approach should be inspirational to students and useful for introduction to Judaism courses and other types of congregational learning."
