Alex Borstein is an American actress, voice artist, writer, producer, and comedian.  She is currently known for her role as Susie Myerson on the historical comedy-drama series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  

Most recently, after winning a Best Supportive Actress Emmy, Borstein spoke about her grandmother as a survivor of the Holocaust and dedicated the award to her and to the strength of all women.  She brings her Jewish identity into her comedy and attributes the notion of being an outsider as motivation to her work. She is a supporter of the National Hemophilia Foundation.
