Brighten your child’s Jewish holidays while they are away at college by signing up for College Connection! To ensure your college student is included in all 3 holidays for the coming academic year, please send $60, payable to Congregation Shir Hadash. Include your child’s name, name of college, college address, and college email address.

Jewish Themed Care Packages

Shir Hadash helps college students stay connected to the synagogue and remind them of their Jewish traditions and treats when they cannot be home for the holidays. These care packages are sent three times a year, at Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah and Passover.

Typical Package Contents

We will send your college student a box filled with holiday goodies, Jewish anecdotes and calendars, and a personal message from the Rabbi. Our popular boxes have included mini challahs, honey sticks, matzoh, dreidels, gelt, macaroons and much more.
