Berdeen Coven, always well-dressed, with a desire to help those in need and an avid collector of anything with butterflies on it, Berdeen never hesitated to put others before herself.

Berdeen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lee.  Her daughter Cynthia Merrell (Scott Schwartz) and her son Andrew Coven (Alison Brunner) and her two adoring grandchildren, Jonah and Abigail Coven.  In addition, she is also survived by her sister Taya Meyer and her niece, Rochelle (Jay) Lesiner.  Berdeen will be missed by many in the congregation.  She will be remembered for her kindness, her endless variety of hats for Shabbat services and her constant desire to help those in need.

Visitors are welcome to attend the memorial service which will be held at 11am at Shir Haddash. In addition, the service will also be live-streamed. The service will be followed by a meal of consolation and visitation.
