Learn how to chant from the Torah! Enrollment in the Adult B'nai Mitzvah track is not required to sign up for this Cantillation Class - any adult in the Shir Hadash community is welcome to sign up and join this class, but you should have a basic phonetic knowledge of the Hebrew alef-bet to take this class. Cantor Devorah Felder-Levy will teach the group the cantillation/trope patterns, how to sing them and how to apply them to a Torah text. Chanting Torah is fun, so come and learn for general enrichment or learn before your Adult B'nai Mitzvah.
