We are very excited to invite you to our upcoming Havdalah Gala series - a season of celebrating our values through philanthropy and engagement! Our Core Values of Community, Spirituality, Wisdom and Social Responsibility define the spirit and mission of Congregation Shir Hadash; each will be individually celebrated and recognized through our quarterly Havdalah Gala gatherings. Havdalah Galas will be more casual than prior galas with each celebrating one of our four values. Beginning November 11, when we celebrate the value of “Community”, each event will have its unique blend of food, drink, entertainment as well as a companion fundraising component.

Our first event on November 11 will be a Trivia Night with games, delicious wood-fired pizza and salads, a no-host bar and auction fun with ‘Shop Shir Hadash’. Enjoy auction baskets and certificates showcasing the hidden (and not so hidden) talents of our remarkable Shir Hadash community!

Event Details:

• 6pm - 7pm  Dinner, drinks, schmoozing, bidding 
• 7pm - 7:30pm  Icebreaker Activity & Havdalah Service
• 7:30pm - 9pm  Trivia, Dessert, Bidding 
• No-Host Bar and Drink Service Will Remain Open Throughout 

Babysitting

Little ones will enjoy fun activities together during the babysitting, which is $15 per child. The babysitting includes dinner! Children must be potty trained to sign up for babysitting. Our babysitting program will involve fun activities and formal adult supervision. Older youth ages 11-17 are welcome to register and also participate in the fun of the babysitting area as a Youth Volunteer Helper and enjoy the youth-focused activities and dinner.

Auction

You're invited to join us at the "Shir Hadash Shops" online auction! Bidding is open! Bidding will close on Nov 11 at 9:00pm. We have a wonderful array of auction items this year, including:
