Contemporary Israeli music defines and is defined by a complex conversation about the people and culture of Israel. The songs transcend language barriers, fostering a connection to the people and places. But what can we learn from this music about modern Israel? In this musical experience, we’ll explore the language, the themes, and the voices that reflect Israel today.

Sasha Dominguez resides in Los Angeles, CA. She holds two master’s degrees from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Jewish Education and Jewish Nonprofit Management. While acquiring her academic education, she was also an iCenter Israel Education fellow.
