Tuesday, March 16, 2021 3 Nisan 5781

2:00 PM - 3:00 PMClick on REGISTRATION link below to sign up.

Four local synagogues (Congregation Shir Hadash, Congregation Beth David, Temple Emanu-El and Congregation Sinai) and Jewish Silicon Valley (formed by the recent merger of the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley and Addison-Penzak JCC) have come together to, on a rotating basis, host educational programs that will be of interest to our collective communities. We believe there is strength in numbers and we will be able to bring in bigger and better speakers to the South Bay Jewish community.

At our first event we will celebrate the extraordinary presence of Jews in China. Through lively stories, photos, videos and music, Cantor Robyn Helzner shares an irresistible enthusiasm for both the ancient and modern Jewish communities of Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Kaifeng. Robyn served as the Cantor for the United Jewish Congregation of Hong Kong and is a stunning vocalist and vivid storyteller. Robyn radiates a passion for Jewish music that captivates listeners and her program, Kreplach & Dim Sum, has been a wildly popular nationwide.

For a preview of her program, take a look at this YouTube video.

Free! REGISTER HERE.

This event is jointly organized by the synagogues of the South Bay: Congregation Shir Hadash, Congregation Beth David, Congregation Sinai, Temple Emanu-El, and Jewish Silicon Valley.
