5:00 PM - 6:00 PMMemorial Garden OutsideAll are welcome to join this community memorial service of Mincha with Yizkor, which will be held outside in the Memorial Garden. This service fulfills our Jewish tradition of reciting the Yizkor memorial prayers for Shavuot.
Together we comfort mourners and our sorrows are shared. We hope that you are able to attend and find meaning and comfort during these memorial prayers.
Following Yizkor, the newly engraved names of loved ones will be unveiled. Names of loved-ones are engraved twice a year: on Sukkot and Shavuot. In addition to the reading of psalms and prayers, families are given the opportunity to share memories of those loved ones whose names have recently been inscribed on the memorial garden walls.
About Mincha and Yizkor:
The Mincha and Yizkor services are recited four times per year: on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, the eighth day of Passover, and at Shavuot.
