Sephardic Jewry - A Discussion & Musical Presentation with Rivka Amado

Rivka Amado, PhD, is a musician and lecturer specializing in Judeo-Spanish culture and history. Rivka will present the narrative of the Sephardim after their expulsion from Spain and their journey to North Africa, Central Europe, and the Ottoman countries. During her presentation, Rivka mixes historical narrative accounts of the Sephardic culture and popular Ladino songs. 

For the program and lunch, a nominal donation of $5 per person is requested. The donation is collected on the day of the event, so please bring it with you. We invite those with last names starting with M-Z to bring dessert!

The program is open to everyone; however, advance registration is required as we provide a catered lunch.
