Anti-Semitism was identified as a major concern of our members in our last listening campaign. To address this concern and to reach out beyond our community, the Shir Hadash Social Justice Committee (SHOC) is focusing on issues of hate and discrimination in schools. We have identified the Heathy Kids survey as one possible tool that the school districts could use to explore school climate and to determine if issues of hate and bullying are significant on their campuses.

If this is a concern that you share, please join our committee as we begin the research phase of our work, connecting with the local school districts to find out how they view the issues and to identify changes to pursue.
