Help not Handcuffs for Mental Health Crises

Calling all Shir Hadash Teens! SALTY’s next social action event is here, with an opportunity to make a difference in our community.

We will be joined by Shir Hadash’s own Elisa Koff-Ginsborg, the Executive Director of the Behavioral Health Contractors Association(BHCA), as she presents on the Community Mobile Crisis pilot program in our area. This program is an innovative community-based public safety program that provides mental health first response for non-violent crises.

Following her presentation, we will explore steps we can take to support this critical program.
