With great sadness we inform the congregation of the death of a founding member, Vicky Deggs, on Saturday, November 7. Vicky waged a long and valiant battle with cancer but took a precipitous turn for the worse just last week. A loving wife of Howard Taub, and devoted mother and champion of her children, Lindsay and Jeremy, Vicky was an active volunteer and a strong supporter of Congregation Shir Hadash in so many ways. This year Lindsay and her husband Andrew came from London for an extended stay and the birth of their daughter, Ruby Victoria, who brought Vicky so much joy over these last several months. 

Our condolences to Vicky's family, her many close friends in the congregation, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her memory live on as a blessing.
