Jewish Learning and Engagement Online


There are a variety of different Jewish learning and engagement resources online that you can use to supplement our virtual programs during this unique time period with the shelter-in-place order from the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health. We hope you find these resources useful now as well as any time of year!

  • BimBam is an online resource of digital storytelling contains videos of holidays, lifecycles, history and even why Jews have curly hair. 
  • Jewish Interactive provides this social platform for students to learn through Jewish games. 
  • Shalom Learning is providing free access to values-based lessons and family learning.  
  • California Jewish Over Night Camps are providing “pop-up camp” virtual experiences led by Jewish Camp staff throughout California.
  • PJ Library offers suggestions of what to do with your young Jewish family at home. 
  • Shalom Sesame on YouTube, by the creators of Sesame Street, uses various media to connect American young children to Jewish themes, games and ideas.
  • While we are all home and cooped up with our families, it is sometimes hard to be nice to each other. Check out this video on Shalom Bayit, peace in the house. Then, talk as a family about one thing you can do to keep the peace in the coming day.
  • My Jewish Learning provides articles on any Jewish topic you can imagine.

Passover Resources

  • I Left with Moses, A resource of the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland with activities and parents to learn about various Passover themes and learn about parts of the seder.
  • Make your Own Haggadot Online is (self-proclaimed) largest online resource for the Passover Haggadah with thousands of options for blessings, artwork, translations, songs, activities and more. Mix and match, download and print at home. 
  • The Union of Reform Judaism offers helpful information and materials about Passover, including family activities.
  • Gateways provides helpful resources about Passover and Judaic content for individuals with special needs.
