What is the value of our final years?
American society sees value in productivity, so what is the meaning of those years when we are no longer productive? Judaism understands aging in a different light and appreciates the other aspects of human experience. Still, it is difficult for us, when we are dependent on others and no longer able to contribute, to see value in our lives. Rabbi Aron will share some Jewish texts as well as reflections on visits she makes with our oldest temple members.
